Tribute to The Centennial of International Women's Day

Today marks the 100th year of International Women's Day. In some countries, IWD has the equivalent status of Mother's Day, where children give small presents to their mothers and grandmothers.

In many regions across Europe, this day is an occasion for men to express their love for women in a way somewhat similar to a mixture of Mother's Day and St Valentine's Day. Some countries like New Zealand even prepared a Breakfast To Celebrate The Centennial Women's Day.

So, to carry on the tradition of honouring our mothers, sisters, wives, girlfriends, colleagues and friends with flowers and small gifts, we will be giving out today's rewards with special designs on your Amazon Gift Cards!

Don't know what to give to that special woman in your life yet? Check out the Items on Sale for Women at Amazon.com that are eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping and one-day shipping.

But let me also remind you that this occasion is not just for buying gifts and receiving them (for that matter). Don't forget to think globally and act locally! Support your local groups and organizations to truly celebrate and ensure that the future for girls and women is bright, equal, safe and rewarding.
